Wembley is the UK’s national stadium, home to the England football team and a world class venue. It has more than 2 million visitors per year.
With the announcement of a new strategic partnership to make Wembley the most connected stadium in the world, EE and Wembley needed a new iOS and Android app to deliver the best possible spectator experience ‘from sofa to seat’.
Working closely with the Head of UX and Developers at Future Platforms, I designed the whole user interface for the app. As one of the first digital products to make use of the new joint branding, I remained in close contact with the clients from Wembley and EE throughout the project, ensuring effective application of the brand.
The app received an average of 4 out of 5 stars on the App Store and Google Play soon after launch. I’ve since returned to work with the FP team, to design the UI for new features and functionality.
