Sightsavers work in more than 30 countries to eliminate avoidable blindness and support people with visual impairments to live independently.

Sightsavers existing website had become outdated, lacked clear calls to action for donating and was no longer an effective representation of their brand. They needed a new dedicated UK fundraising site. One which showcases the amazing work they do and offers clear routes to donate.

I attended an initial chemistry meeting between Lavish and Sightsavers, helping build client confidence and win the project. Once underway, I designed the user interface for key page templates of the site, working with Lavish, an external UX designer and the Sightsavers content team.

The Sightsavers team were very pleased with the result. Since launching, Sightsavers have updated the UK site and have rolled out fundraising sites for Italy, Sweden and Ireland based the same model.
